Welcome to day 2 of our 40 days Chanting for personal and global healing and transformation. Today I am going to explore the symbolic meaning of the 40 days retreat as well as introduce a new mantra Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo.

I heard a Sufi story I am sharing today, a story about the 40 days spiritual practice, from Richard Rudd, a contemporary mystic and poet, author of Gene Keys. The message from this story is that we don’t know what the Divine plan is for us or the Earth and we might be surprised how the story may unfold. Nevertheless, keeping our energy high and connecting to our Divine nature might be the best tool for now and I would encourage everyone not to miss this opportunity and share it with others.

40 days is very symbolic in many spiritual traditions. Jesus spent 40 days on the desert, Kundalini Yoga tradition sets up 40 days meditations and krias as a minimum time for the process of transformation. My epiphany connecting the astrological events mentioned yesterday (Pluto-Jupiter conjunction on the 12th of Nov and the Saturn-Jupiter conjunction on the 21st of Dec) triggered an idea of creating this program and committing myself not only to daily chanting mediation, but also daily writing, daily posting on internet, ect, something I have never done before. I welcome this challenges today with open arms, jumping from the cliff into the unknown, into the adventure, establishing a new path for new insights, new attitudes, new skills and most of all the open heart in the middle of the global storm.

Today's mantra Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo, Guru Dev Namo, Guru Deva is the longer version of the short chant introduced yesterday. This mantra tunes into the spiritual knowlegde of all teachers who ever existed on this Earth. It helps us o tune into our highest Divine nature.

I trust that it will also serve you and many others in this Time of Great Change.
